John O’Connor- Managing Director
Mr. O’Connor has been investing in private equity since 1988 and has deep relationships with many of the leading private equity firms in the business. Fort Washington Capital Group (FW Capital) is the private equity division of Fort Washington Investment Advisors. Mr. O’Connor is also a member of FW Capital’s Investment Committee. Based on his experience in the business, Mr. O’Connor developed FW Capital’s strategy of investing in specialist funds in specific sectors. Mr. O’Connor has been with Fort Washington since 1990 and with Western-Southern since 1988. As Managing Director, Mr. O’Connor has been largely responsible for generating the successful historical performance of the private equity investment program. Mr. O’Connor served as Director of Alternative Investments, and then as Assistant Vice President of Corporate Development with Western- Southern where he was responsible for managing Western-Southern, and its subsidiaries’, private equity. Prior to joining Western-Southern, Mr. O’Connor held the position of Merger and Acquisition Analyst at Federated Department Stores from 1987-1988. Mr. O’Connor earned a BA, summa cum laude in Economics from Lawrence University and an MM in Finance and Accounting from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society and holds CFA and CPA professional designations.

Steve Baker- Managing Director
Mr. Baker has over fifteen years of direct private equity investment experience. Fort Washington Capital Group (FW Capital) is the private equity division of Fort Washington Investment Advisors. Mr. Baker joined FW Capital in 2000 and is now Managing Director, Private Equity responsible for direct and regional investment programs. Mr. Baker developed FW Capital’s direct investment strategy and regional investment approach. Mr. Baker serves on the Board of Directors of several portfolio companies and on the advisory boards of several portfolio funds. Mr. Baker is a member of FW Capital’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Fort Washington, Mr. Baker served as a principal of Seaport Capital Partners, a leading New York-based venture capital firm focusing on the media and communications industries. Mr. Baker began his investing career in 1992 with the Providence Journal Company responsible for venture investing, new business development and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Baker earned his BA, cum laude, in History from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

Christopher Baucom- Managing Director
Mr. Baucom’s background in private equity includes founding a venture-backed enterprise software company in 1995 and raising nearly $20 million in angel and venture capital. Fort Washington Capital Group (FW Capital) is the private equity division of Fort Washington Investment Advisors. Mr. Baucom joined FW Capital in 2001 and is now Vice President, Private Equity responsible for investment operations, analysis and relationships with underlying fund managers and direct co-investments. Prior to joining Fort Washington, Mr. Baucom served as Chief Financial Officer of Copernus, Inc., a venture-backed enterprise software company. From 1995-1996, Mr. Baucom was General Manager with Matrix Asset Allocation, Inc. an investment management firm. Prior to this, Mr. Baucom served in I.T. and finance roles with The Procter & Gamble Company. Mr. Baucom earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago. Mr. Baucom also holds the CFA professional designation. Mr. Baucom serves on FW Capital’s Investment Committees.

Paul Cohn- Vice President and Regional Director
Mr. Cohn most recently served as Founder and Managing Director for Navigation Capital Partners, LLC, a boutique investment bank. Fort Washington Capital Group (FW Capital) is the private equity division of Fort Washington Investment Advisors. Mr. Cohn joined FW Capital in 2006 as Vice President and Regional Director for the Ohio-based program. Mr. Cohn was a founding member and Partner of Mellon Ventures, Inc. a private equity firm which grew to over $1.3 billion of investments and commitments. Mr. Cohn brings over twenty years of private equity, leveraged lending and fundraising experience to FW Capital. Mr. Cohn earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Graduate School of Industrial Administration and a BS in Administration and Management Services from Carnegie Mellon University.

Mary Ann Griffin- Investment Manager
Ms. Griffin’s background includes experience as a public equity analyst and investment banking. Fort Washington Capital Group (FW Capital) is the private equity division of Fort Washington Investment Advisors. Ms. Griffin joined FW Capital in 2003 as an Investment Manager, where she was responsible for fund operations for FW Capital’s private equity funds of funds. Currently, Ms. Griffin is responsible for investment analysis and relationships with underlying fund managers and direct co-investments. Ms. Griffin previously worked for Credit Suisse First Boston in New York as an Equity Research Associate Analyst covering major pharmaceuticals. Prior to Credit Suisse, Ms. Griffin was a Financial Analyst in the Investment Banking Group of Merrill Lynch & Co. Ms. Griffin earned a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.

Julia Ossipov Grodsky- Investment Manager
Ms. Ossipov-Grodsky’s background includes experience as a public equity analyst. Fort Washington Capital Group (FW Capital) is the private equity division of Fort Washington Investment Advisors. Ms. Ossipov-Grodsky joined FW Capital in 2005 and is now an Investment Manager. In this capacity she is responsible for due diligence and investment analysis for underlying funds. Ms. Ossipov-Grodsky previously worked for Morgan Stanley in New York as an Equity Research Associate Analyst covering computer sciences, foodservice and financial services. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Ms. Ossipov-Grodsky was a Financial Analyst Intern with the Real Estate Acquisition Group of J.P. Morgan in New York. Ms. Ossipov-Grodsky earned a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.

Kristin DePlatchett- Investment Analyst
Fort Washington Capital Group (FW Capital) is the private equity division of Fort Washington Investment Advisors. Ms. DePlatchett joined FW Capital in 2006 as an Investment Analyst. Ms. DePlatchett’s prior experience includes working as a Financial Analyst with Schaeffer’s Investment Research and as a Financial Analyst for Birinyi Associates, Inc. Ms. DePlatchett also served as an Assistant Coach with the Harvard University women’s varsity soccer team. DePlatchett earned a BA in Economics with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was 2001 NCAA Division I First Team Academic All-American and assisted her team in winning the NCAA National Championship in Women’s Division I Soccer for 1999 and 2000. She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. line

Kevin McGinty- Managing Director
Mr. McGinty is a founder and Managing Director of Peppertree Capital Management, Inc. and Peppertree Partners (an affiliated fund-of-funds manager). Prior to forming Peppertree, he spent 10 years as a Managing Director with Primus Venture Partners where he focused on Media, Telecommunications, Business Services and Financial Services investing. Mr. McGinty earned his BA from Ohio Wesleyan University and his MBA from Cleveland State University.

Joseph Michael- Managing Director
Joseph B. Michael, CFA, is a Managing Director who co-founded Peppertree Partners in 2000 after working in the investment department of the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) for twelve years. Mr. Michael was Manager of Alternative Investments at the $55 billion Columbus, Ohio-based pension fund and served as a member of its Investment Strategy Committee comprised of the senior investment professionals. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. from John Carroll University.

Carl Tippit- Managing Director Carl J. Tippit, CFA, is a Managing Director of Peppertree Partners and Chief Financial Officer of both Peppertree Partners and Peppertree Capital Management, Inc. Mr. Tippit joined Peppertree in 2000 after working in various executive positions for the past 20 years. Mr. Tippit previously was President and chief executive officer of Business Sound, Inc., a company he founded in 1990. He holds a B.A. from Williams College and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago.

Tarik Adam- Investment Manager Mr. Adam has been an Investment Manager with Peppertree Partners since 2006 after working with various Investment firms for the previous 6 years. Most recently he was with Allegiant Asset Management, a $26 billion institutional money manager for National City Bank, working as a Small Cap Value Investment Analyst. He holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance from The Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve’s Weatherhead School of Management.

Andrew Oswald- Analyst Andrew J. Oswald began with Peppertree Partners in early 2005 while completing his studies at John Carroll University. Mr. Oswald assists in sourcing deal flow, analyzing and recommending private equity investments, and monitoring existing portfolio holdings. Mr. Oswald earned a B.S.B.A., cum laude, in Finance from John Carroll University. line
